Damaged & Misprinted Items
At Havelli, we take great care in ensuring that every woven blanket meets our high-quality standards. However, in rare cases, items may arrive damaged or miswoven due to production or shipping issues. Below, we outline what qualifies as a damaged or miswoven item and when we offer a replacement or refund.
1. What We Consider "Damaged"
A blanket is considered damaged if, upon opening your package, you notice:
✅ Significant fabric defects such as large holes, tears, or frayed edges.
✅ Severe unraveling of the weave that compromises durability.
✅ Loose or detached threads that affect the integrity of the blanket.
✅ Major discoloration spots or stains that were not part of the original design.
✅ Shipping damage: If your package arrives severely crushed, torn, or water-damaged, and the blanket is affected as a result.
❌ Not Considered Damage:
- Minor thread inconsistencies or loose fibers (which can occur naturally in woven textiles).
- Wrinkles or slight creasing due to shipping.
- Small variations in weave tightness that do not affect durability.
2. What We Consider "Miswoven" (Color & Weave Issues)
A blanket is miswoven if:
✅ The colors are significantly different from what you saw on our website.
✅ Major weaving errors cause large gaps or misplaced threads that distort the design.
✅ Patterns or elements are misaligned to a degree that affects the intended look.
🔹 Important Color Information:
- Our blankets are woven, not printed, meaning colors are achieved by mixing different cotton yarn threads.
- Due to the limited range of cotton yarn colors available, the final result may appear slightly different from digital images.
- Color variations can also occur due to screen settings and lighting differences, but we ensure they stay within an acceptable range. (See Photos Below for Reference)
❌ Not Considered Miswoven:
- Slight shade differences between what you see on a screen vs. real life.
- Normal variations in weaving texture due to the handmade nature of the process.

When We Offer a Replacement or Refund
✔ If your blanket is damaged or miswoven as described above, we will replace it or offer a refund.
✔ To request a replacement, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with clear photos of the issue.
✔ We may require the item to be returned for inspection before processing a refund or replacement.
