About us
Havelli is a small, independent business based in Norway. We make premium woven blankets built around one straightforward idea: that something you bring into your home every day should be well made, responsibly produced, and worth keeping.
The brand grew out of a genuine appreciation for craft and the natural world. Not a trend, not a gap in the market — just a belief that woven textiles done properly can carry a kind of quiet value that printed alternatives rarely do.
What we make
Our blankets are woven, not printed. We use 100% cotton, with 25% of the fiber coming from recycled materials. Every blanket is jacquard woven in the United States by a manufacturer we trust, using equipment and production methods that keep waste and chemical use to a minimum. Each piece is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, which means it has been tested and verified to be free from harmful substances.
Where the designs come from
We draw from nature — not in a literal way, but in the way light comes through trees, or the way a particular texture feels grounding without being obvious about it. The patterns are understated. The colors lean earthy. The goal is something that fits quietly into a home without demanding attention, but improves the space just by being there.
On price and access
Good woven blankets have long been priced out of reach for most people, sold mainly through boutiques and specialty shops at a significant markup. We don't think that's how it has to be. Our aim is to offer the same level of quality at a price that doesn't require a special occasion to justify.
How orders work
We produce on a made-to-order basis. Nothing is woven until an order comes in. That means no overstock, no warehouse sitting full of product that may never sell, and no excess shipping just to move inventory around. It's a slower model in some ways, but it's the right one for what we're trying to do.
What Havelli is, in plain terms
We're a small operation with a clear point of view. We care about how things are made, what they're made from, and whether they'll still be worth having years from now. That's it, really. We're not trying to be everything — just trying to do one thing properly.
Thank you for supporting independent businesses and taking the time to learn a little about ours.
